National Martial Arts Games Federation of India is National governing Body for Martial Arts Sports in India which is registered under Indian Trust Act 1882, Government of India with total aim to develop Martial arts Sports in India. A Non-Government and Non Profit Organisation contributing to all Martial Arts Sports, on educational, Scientific and technical levels through the National and regional Martial Arts Games for all.

NMGFI provides all Martial Arts Organizations over the India with an opportunity to demonstrate their Martial Arts skills and values through the National and regional Martial Arts Games and endeavors to preserve and develop Martial Arts Sports as a common asset of humanity along with social progress, irrespective of political belief, religion, sex, nationality and Martial arts Sports.

The primary goal of the NMGFI is to unify and organize existing Martial Arts Sports National and/or territorial federations that share the vision of reaching Olympic greatness while preserving the unique history, culture, philosophy and lineage of our sports.

Establishing one set of governing rules, the NMGFI has helped develop or unify existing federations, creating a growing network of likeminded members who envision greater opportunities for our athletes Martial Arts Sports. Together, we will continue to organize the sport under one set of governing rules, offer rules courses to educate practitioners of the sport in its rules, host high quality and fair competitions of Martial Arts Sports and rank athletes nationally and in their respective territories.

The NMGFI has further developed the sport by providing National Federations with the opportunity to be part of the true national governing body of Martial Arts Sports, where their voice and vote directs the future of the NMGFI and all Martial arts sport.

For the sport community the NMGFI has developed or assisted in the development of several programs and events that promote the importance of youth development, fair competition, respect, inclusion, equality, cooperation, peace, and friendship while also striving towards hosting tournaments that are enjoyable, fair, and rewarding for all participants.
